VocRide

Free pitch-aware vocal harmonic EQ by nClear. VocRide listens to the incoming vocal, tracks the detected fundamental, and moves two EQ bands with the performance.

Current version: 1.2.0. If you have 1.0.0 or 1.1.0, please update.

macOS / Windows / Linux · VST3 / CLAP / AU / LV2

VocRide plugin interface

Instead of chasing fixed EQ points by hand, VocRide lets you shape the vocal around the note that is actually being sung. The center of the product is intentionally simple: musical controls for the fundamental, second, and third harmonics, a flexible fourth Nth band, and a moving display that shows where the plugin is listening.

  • Automatically locks onto vocal harmonics.
  • Controls the level of the first, second, and third harmonics.
  • Includes a fourth Nth band with adjustable frequency and Q.
  • Shows input and output level analysis.
  • Includes output volume and bypass.
  • Automatic Gain Compensation keeps processed loudness closer to the original vocal.
  • LowCut removes low end below the detected fundamental with 12, 24, or 48 dB/oct slopes.
  • Live Mode provides a very low-latency path for performance and real-time monitoring.
  • Presets, Auto Updates, UI scaling.
  • Dark / Light theme

Main features

Pitch-aware tracking

The detector follows the vocal fundamental so the EQ movement stays connected to the actual note.

Harmonics gain

Ride the weight of the sung note with one focused control instead of hunting frequency points.

Nth harmonic

The fourth band can follow up to the 14th harmonic or target an exact 3-12 kHz frequency with adjustable Q.

VocRide Automatic Gain Compensation

Automatic Gain Compensation

AGC evens out the level so the processed vocal stays closer to the original loudness while you shape the harmonics.

VocRide Live Mode

Live Mode

A very low-latency mode for live performance and real-time monitoring, using a lighter processing path that stays practical on stage.

VocRide LowCut control

LowCut

Cut rumble below the detected fundamental with musical 12, 24, or 48 dB/oct slopes that follow the vocal.

macOS Universal VST3, AU, CLAP. macOS 10.13 or later
Windows x64 VST3 and CLAP for Windows 11 x64.
