Refund Policy

Version 1.0 Effective date: 2026-07-30

This policy applies to paid nClear software products purchased through Paddle. The product-specific offer page and saveable order confirmation identify the affected product, edition, price and licence entitlement.

1. Who processes refunds

Paddle is the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for purchases made through Paddle. Paddle processes the payment, receipt, transaction support and any refund.

A buyer may submit a refund or withdrawal request through the transaction-management or support link in the Paddle receipt, at https://paddle.net, or to [email protected]. If nClear receives the request, nClear acknowledges it and coordinates the product facts with Paddle; nClear does not send a Paddle transaction refund directly to the buyer.

2. General position

Except where applicable law requires a remedy or Paddle approves one under its policy, paid nClear software purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. nClear provides no separate voluntary money-back guarantee.

This does not limit rights relating to statutory withdrawal where applicable, non-delivery, a material defect, lack of conformity, or a product materially not as described. Paddle may also grant a discretionary refund under its current policy.

Where a free or Lite edition is offered, its availability, use or non-use does not remove a mandatory right and does not by itself prove compatibility of every paid feature.

3. Immediate digital delivery and withdrawal

Before the buyer proceeds to Paddle Checkout, the buyer is asked to request immediate supply of the digital content, expressly consent to performance beginning before any applicable withdrawal period expires, and acknowledge the legal effect on the withdrawal right.

Where applicable law permits, the right to withdraw is lost when nClear begins supplying the digital content after that express request, consent and acknowledgement. Where the legal requirements are not satisfied, the applicable statutory right remains available.

4. Technical or delivery problems

Contact [email protected] promptly if:

  • the entitlement or download was not delivered after a completed payment;
  • activation does not work on a system expressly supported by the applicable product offer;
  • a persistent material defect prevents access to an advertised benefit;
  • the delivered product is materially not as described;
  • there appears to be a duplicate or unauthorised transaction.

nClear may resend access, correct an entitlement, assist with activation, provide a fix or workaround, or provide technical facts to Paddle. Troubleshooting does not waive a mandatory right or prevent the buyer from contacting Paddle.

5. Access after a refund or dispute

A confirmed full refund of a paid product or edition ends the affected paid entitlement. Future server-provided paid downloads, licence issuance and activation for that entitlement are disabled. The buyer must stop using the refunded paid product or features and remove affected local licence files, subject to mandatory law. Any separately available free edition may remain available.

A pending, rejected, partial, tax-only, unrelated or ambiguous refund or adjustment does not automatically end the licence. nClear reviews the exact Paddle adjustment type, reason and affected item. Only a confirmed ordinary full product refund or another explicit authoritative outcome ending the whole affected entitlement terminates it.

If Paddle reports a payment dispute or chargeback warning, nClear may temporarily suspend future paid download, licence issuance and activation for the affected entitlement without treating the licence as permanently revoked. A final lost chargeback may keep that suspension in place. If the dispute or warning is reversed, cancelled or won, nClear restores future access after checking that no separate full refund, fraud or licence-abuse block remains.

A permanent offline licence file may continue functioning technically on a computer that never reconnects. This does not preserve the contractual right to use refunded or validly terminated paid software or features.

nClear may use the transaction, delivery, portal, activation and support records described in the Privacy Policy to investigate a request and explain the product facts to Paddle or another competent recipient.

Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy control Paddle’s transaction and refund process. Mandatory law prevails where it grants greater protection.
